SAOC began as an intensive review for military ophthalmology residents based in San Antonio and has grown to be an internationally recognized course with more than 250 civilian and military attendees annually. Formerly known as the Brooke Army Medical Center Ophthalmology Review Course, it was founded in 1993 by William C. Lloyd III, MD, FACS. We have 30 years of course instruction and participants successfully pass their exams.  The course was founded and is still operating with the vision of helping participants succeed.
